    Description: 
    Full-length bronze figure of a soldier in uniform. He wears a hat and has a knapsack and canteen hanging from his shoulders. He holds a rifle in front of him with both hands. The painted sculpture stands on a granite base with sloping sides. The base stands on a rough-hewn step.
