    Description: 
    A figure of Christopher Columbus, dressed in medieval garb that includes a belted shirt, a long swirling cape, a cap, and gloves, stands with his proper right hand raised to his brow while his proper left hand hangs by his side. A sword hangs from the proper left side of his belt and a cross hangs around his neck. The figure is placed atop an inscribed two-sectioned base that is set within a small garden setting.
