Description:
A middle-aged and bearded James A. Bradley stands with head turned slightly to the proper right, holding an overcoat and fedora in his proper left hand. His proper right hand is raised and he holds a small object. On all sides of the plinth are bas-relief scenes depicting the settling of the
Asbury
area in the late 19th century, including a horse and carriage, shown on the front. A curvy floral vine rises up from the top of the
sculpture
base behind Bradley's legs.

James A. Bradley, owner of a

York City brush manufacturing business and philanthropist, founded the City of
Asbury
