    Description: 
    Full-length figure of Mary Magdalen. She wears shoes, a dress and a long cloak. The cloak is fastened at the neck with a braided rope. She has long hair. She holds a jar with both hands, supporting it from below with her proper right hand and holding the top with her proper left hand. The bonded bronze sculpture stands on a short granite base. The base has rough hewn sides and a smooth top.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was commissioned in 1989 and in 1995 the college received a bequest which allowed them to proceed with fabrication of the sculpture. IAS files contain copy of dedication ceremony program brochure. IAS files contain copy of related excerpt from The Magdalen Newsletter, Vol. XXI, No. 5, Summer 1996 and article from Tidings (Manchester, NH), Sept. 1, 1996, pg. 6.
