Twelve silhouetted birds in flight set within a thin circular piece that is attached to a semicircular piece and a pole set in the ground. The birds are made to look like geese in one direction and seagulls in the other. The birds are flying horizontally in six rows, with one bird in the top and bottom rows, two birds in the intermediate rows, and three birds in the two middle rows. The circular piece is mounted on the base so that it can rotate on its horizontal axis.
