Description:
Six abstract relief panels. Outlines formed by narrow strips of aluminum mounted on black granite panels depict related themes and repeating motifs. The panels are mounted to the front wall of a building. The panels on each end mirror each other and depict an open book with two laboratory flasks and three plants. The second panel on the east depicts a figure cultivating three plants. The figure is bent over, tending to the plants. The next panel depicts two figures: on the proper left is a female and on the proper right is a male. Their heads tilt toward each other and each holds a book in their outside hand. The next panel depicts a man at a laboratory bench; the bench has three flasks on it. The man wears a lab coat and faces the proper right. The sixth relief is located above the main entry and combines all of the figures of the other panels. In the center are the man and woman standing on plowed ground. The man cultivating is on their proper right and the man in the laboratory is on their proper left. The lab bench has two flasks. The panels are sheltered by porticoes.
