Description:
An Indian Chief. He stands, raising his proper right hand to his forehead. His proper left arm is by his side and in his hand he holds a spear made from an aluminum rod with a concrete spear head. The base of the spear rests on the base by his feet and has several copper feathers attached. He wears a large feathered headdress made of concrete formed over a plow sweep. His eyes are marbles and his teeth are false teeth from a dentist's office. He wears copper bands around his upper arms and wrists and on the headdress at the hairline. Colored rocks from Alabama have been incorporated into the base.
