    Description:
A family of four stand together on a twisted tangle of beams inscribed with the names of four concentration camps. The father wears what may be a blanket or shawl draped around his shoulders and stands behind the mother and children, with his proper left hand on the mother's shoulder. The mother wears a knee-length dress and stands next to the taller of the two children with her proper left hand on the shoulder of the shorter child who stands in front of her. The shorter child wears what may be a thigh-length dress or shift. Seven shafts rise above the family, from the tangled beams they stand on, to form a niche for them. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular base with a commemorative plaque on the front. The sculpture is located within a semicircular plaza-like setting.
