    Description: 
    A group of seven children engage in a game of "crack the whip." The group originally included eight children, with the original leader, a boy, now missing. They hold hands and run in a semicircle, with some leaning forward and others arched backwards counterbalancing them. A girl on one end appears to falling, and another girl in the middle has lost her sandal. Of the original eight children, two were African-American, one Native-American, and one Asian. The sculpture is set directly on the ground.

    Sculpture cost $85,000 and was donated by an anonymous Flint area resident with family members buried in the cemetery. Nearby plaque reads: "Crack The Whip" By J.
