    Description:
An abstract kinetic sculpture overlooking the confluence of the Pawtucket Canal and the Concord River symbolizes the role that water power played in the development of Lowell. The sculpture consists of vertical rectangular units formed by metal rods constructed in a pyramid arrangement. Forty copper colored steel cubes are suspended from crossbars inside each rectangular unit. Dozens of fountain jets spray water against the cubes, spinning them in all directrions. The sculpture is installed on a flat concrete base in the middle of a stone plaza.
