    Description: 
    A large granite shaft topped by a bronze figure of a Civil War flagbearer, and flanked by bronze figures of a sailor on the left and a soldier on the right. The front of the granite base is adorned with a relief carving of an eagle and crossed flags.

    Remarks: 
    The monument was erected in honor of the 400 men from Attleboro who fought in the Civil War. The designer was White of Quincy. IAS files contain a Massachusetts Historical Commission Form C - Monuments questionnaire dated June 30, 1985.
