Dimensions:  2 reliefs. Each approx. 90 x 30 x 3 in. Inscription:  unsigned Description:  Two identical concrete reliefs created on the supports of a bridge which spans a lagoon. Both reliefs depict a simplified nude woman standing and holding a bowl on her head with her proper right hand. Her proper left hand is down by her side. She has straight smooth hair and looks straight ahead. Subject:  Figure female -- Full length Figure female -- Nude Object Type:  Relief Outdoor Sculpture -- Louisiana -- New Orleans Sculpture Owner:  Administered by City Park Improvement Association, 1 Palm Drive, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124 Located City Park, Bridge, New Orleans, Louisiana Remarks:  The artist created these reliefs on site as part of a Works Progress Administration project in New Orleans City Park. A mold of the artist's clay relief was attached to wooden forms on the bridge; when the concrete for the bridge was poured, the reliefs were created.
