Description:
Massive grotto consisting of natural weathered limestone in a pseudo-arch shape. Eight carved figures are placed on and around the grotto; four on top and two on either side. The four concrete figures placed along the top are cherubs. Each cherub plays an instrument: cymbals, horn, pipes and tambourine. The Italian stone figures on the sides of the grotto are child-like fauns with hooves and pointed ears. Each of these figures also plays an instrument: reed pipes, tambourine, cymbals and rams horn. The grotto functions as a fountain and rests on an oval-shaped brick base. Both the grotto and base are planted.
