    Remarks:
Sculpture commemorates missing children. It was carved from a limestone block from the old Mayfield High School by the artists during a stone-carving demonstration held as part of the Purchase Area Arts Council's (PAAC) 1987 Mayfest Arts and Crafts fair. It was completed the following year and donated to Mayfield at Mayfest in 1988 by the artists and the PAAC. The base was donated by Bob Robbins of Bedford Limestone Suppliers of Bedford, Indiana. Rodgers Monument of Mayfield provided and installed the commemorative plaque. Commemorative plaque in front of sculpture reads: "OFFERINGS"/DEDICATED TO THE CITY OF/MAYFIELD BY THE PURCHASE/AREA ARTS COUNCIL IN/REMEMBRANCE OF ALL/MISSING CHILDREN. IAS files contain two related newsclippings from the Mayfield, Kentucky Messenger, April 22, 1989, pg. 3, and April 28, 1989.
