Located 100 block of South 7th Street, across from courthouse,

Remarks:
Sculpture
commemorates missing children. It was carved from a limestone block from the old
Mayfield
High School by the artists during a stone-carving demonstration held as part of the Purchase Area Arts Council's (PAAC) 1987 Mayfest Arts and Crafts fair. It was completed the following year and donated to
Mayfield
at Mayfest in 1988 by the artists and the PAAC. The base was donated by Bob Robbins of Bedford Limestone Suppliers of Bedford, Indiana. Rodgers Monument of
Mayfield
provided and installed the commemorative plaque. Commemorative plaque in front of

reads: "OFFERINGS"/DEDICATED TO THE CITY OF/
MAYFIELD
BY THE PURCHASE/AREA ARTS COUNCIL IN/REMEMBRANCE OF ALL/MISSING CHILDREN. IAS files contain two related newsclippings from the
