    Description: 
    Chain saw carving of a standing figure of an American Indian dressed for war. Figure wears knee-length fringed hide tunic, bear claw necklace, feather headdress, trousers, and boots. Proper left hand grips an upright spear decorated with two eagle heads and two fox tails; proper right holds a circular shield decorated with an eagle head. Figure equipped with large hunting knife at side and bow and arrows carried on the back. There is a wolf standing behind the Indian's proper right leg; it raises its head, peers around leg, and bares its fangs.
