Description:
An eagle, emblem of Liberty, with outspread wings is mounted atop a tall, rectangular, three-tiered base, with insignias on the front of the Women's Relief Corps and the Grand Army of the Republic. The memorial sits atop a foundation.

Commemorates Civil War veterans and the Women's Relief Corps, and was a gift to the Grand Army of the Republic from Theodore P. Burkert, a Civil War veteran and member of the G.A.R. Pollock Post. The memorial replaces another G.A.R. marker that used to sit on the same location. When the memorial was dedicated,
