Director of the Fort Dodge Municipal Band for 50 years. Respected and loved/by the citizens of Fort Dodge, the state of Iowa and/band musicians throughout the world./This bronze memorial is a gift to the city of Fort Dodge, members of the Karl L.     Description: 
    Portrait of noted composer and conductor of the Fort Dodge Municipal Band for fifty years Karl King, wearing his band uniform, his body facing forward, his arms raised, and his right hand holding up his baton. The sculpture stands atop a square concrete base adorned with nine bronze medallions depicting circus symbols.
