Martens (copyright symbol) 84 signed Description:  Sculpture is a study in color using a series of intersecting arcs. Subject:  Abstract -- Geometric Landscape -- Phenomenon -- Rainbow Homage -- Belin, Constance Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Iowa -- Des Moines Sculpture Owner:  Des Moines Botanical Center, 909 East River Drive, Des Moines, West entrance, Iowa 50316 Remarks:  The sculpture was done in memory of Constance "Connie" Belin, a civic leader who died in 1980. The sculpture was a gift, paid for with a stock donation from Belin's brother Leonard Newman. The design of the sculpture is related to the theme of arcs and rainbows.
