Description:
A three-tiered concrete
sculpture
with round basins of graduated size. There is a frieze depicting dancing women in classical dress on the pedestal between the middle and lower basins. There is a larger frieze depicting a line of male figures on horseback on the pedestal below the bottom basin. The friezes are painted a dark color to contrast with the light colored pedestal and basins. The basins are planted. The
sculpture
stands on a concrete platform.

sculpture
was installed in 1915 by the Rotary Club as their first city beautification project in
Vincennes
. The
sculpture
was designed by the architect of the project to be used as a planter rather than a fountain. IAS files contain copy of related architect's drawing.
