Description:
Saint Francis stands wearing a Franciscan habit belted with a cord, cowl in the back, hood off the head, feet protruding from beneath his robes. His eyes are closed and his head is turned slightly to his proper right, his hands crossed at his chest. The
sculpture
is mounted upon a multitiered circular base with a square lower base.

was originally located in the garden of old Dujarie Hall in Notre Dame. It was removed around 1966, when Dujarie Hall (later known as Carroll Hall) was sold to the University of Notre Dame. IAS files contain a photocopied image of the
sculpture
in the garden at Dujarie Hall, and related materials.
