    Remarks:
Autumn is one of four figures, commissioned by the City of Portland, Indiana and sculpted by Harold Langland. The figure of Autumn, a woman looking at herself in the mirror, sees a reflection of "Summer." According to the artist, "The implicaton is that autumn is a time of reflection, of looking back." The artist also notes that autumn represents the closing of the year, symbolized by the woman pulling her robe around herself.
