Description:
A continuous frieze of bronze relief sculptures depicting various Civil War soldiers taking leave of their families circle the base of a granite obelisk. A female figure, representing Victorious Peace, holding a leaf in her proper right hand stands on top of the obelisk. The base rests on three tiers of stone.
