    Description: 
    An abstract sculpture with twin peaks rising out of a main stem. The larger peak represents Lafayette and the smaller one West Lafayette. The stem represents Tippecanoe County. The sculpture rotates in the wind. It is placed in a rectangular concrete planter with a brick rim.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture commemorates the sesquicentennial and bicentennial years in Tippicanoe County. Partial funding was received from the National Endowment for the Arts, $1,000 in funding was received from the Indiana Arts Commission, and approximately $6,000 was received from the Heritage 75-76 board. The title Ouabache means Spirit of the Wabash. IAS files contain related articles from the Journal and Courier dated Sept. 2, 1976 and Sept. 15, 1976.
