YWCA, 406 East Sycamore Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901

The sculpture was commissioned by ladies who occupied rooms at the YWCA in the middle 1930s. It commemorates a dog who had lived with its mistress at the "Y" for many years, and who had become a pet to all. The sculpture was formerly located a few feet east of its present location, sited on the lawn near the old Armstrong home, which was razed in the early 1960s to make way for the new YMCA building.
