, IN), Oct. 23, 1988, pg. A-1, A-3, A-5, discussing the unveiling of the statue. The second oldest son of Martin Luther King, Jr., King III, spoke at the ceremony. Federal block grant funding for the piece was $60,000; an additional $86,000 dollars was raised in private donations.
