    Description: 
    Abstract wooden sculpture, with five vertical spires that rise upward. Four of the spires are topped by semi-circular curved pieces of wood with separate spines. All sections are bolted together by steel rods. Base consists of five concrete and weathered coral rectangular blocks.

    Remarks: 
    According to the artist, the piece is to symbolize the strength of Hawaii's chiefs and the connection of wood to earth and environment as well as spiritual values and growth. One of several pieces commissioned by the artist in the Konohiki series for local schools. Students climb on lower sections of sculpture. Artist contracted for repairs in 1985.
