    Description: 
    A Civil War soldier standing holding a rifle in both hands and resting its butt on the ground by his proper right foot. The figure wears a cap, a knee-length coat, a cape and is belted with kit and bayonet. The shaft figure stands atop is decorated with robust raised trophies, the flags and eagle emblem of the United States, three stacked rifles, Seal of Connecticut and crossed cannon.
