Four figurative elements of alternating human busts and goat heads placed on a square, tapering column. The column is the widest at the bottom where it rests on the marble base. At its most narrow point at the top, the column blends into the figurative elements of the

. The female side includes the head and breasts, but not arms, with shoulder-length hair. The male side includes the head and chest to the sternum and rib cage. The goat heads each have horns and a "beard." The horns of the goats are placed so that they may be attributed to either the goat heads or the human heads.
