    Remarks: 
    Three nearby boulders with plaques commemorate those who served in the World Wars. The plans to erect a memorial were begun shortly after peace was declared in 1865. The cost was $2,000. The monument was supplied by Burdick & Company; finishing and lettering were done by Greene & Turner.
