Description:
Full-length figure of a uniformed Union soldier stands atop a tall shaft on a pedestal and tiered base. There is a flagpole crooked in his proper left elbow. His proper right hand is on the hilt of his sword. Decorative elements on the pedestal and shaft include reliefs of crossed rifles, a wreath with the letters G.A.R., a band of stars and United States shields.
