FINNEY/(copyright symbol) 1990 #1 (On plaque on base, raised letters:) Steamboat/William Winston Kidd/"Billy"/DIRECTOR OF SKIING/Olympic Silver Medalist, Slalom, 1964/World Champion, FIS Combined, 1970/World Champion, Pro Skiing, 1970/This Sculpture is Dedicated To/Skiing's Leading Ambassador/To The World/January 15 1991 signed Description:  Portrait of Billy Kidd skiing. He wears a cowboy hat, sunglasses, a long-sleeved jacket and gloves. He holds a ski pole in each hand and appears to be going over uneven terrain. The sculpture is welded and set atop concrete base in middle of a planter. The sculpture commemorates William Winston Kidd, Olympic Silver Medalist and world champion skier. The sculpture's ski poles have been stolen twice.
