    Description: 
    A group of seventeen abstract full-length figures. The figures are walking in the same direction along the ridge of a solid barricade-like base. Some of the figures carry personal belongings such as baskets and knapsacks. One of the figures wheels a cart. The steel sculpture stands on a sheet steel base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is one of nine installed in the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden. The garden was created by volunteers under the guidance of Ric deLugo as a memorial to war dead. Land for the garden was donated by the United States Forest Service. Funding for the sculpture was raised by donation. One of the figures in the sculpture was bent by vandals; the damage was repaired by the artist. IAS files contain copies of related articles from Pioneer Press, Feb. 22, 1989.
