    Description: 
    Abstract figure group installation. A lone figure stands atop a tall concrete pyramid. The figure reaches skyward with both hands. On the ground in front of the pedestal are two figures. One is falling backwards, as if hurt; the other is running forward to catch the falling figure. The installation stands on a concrete base which is paved with stones.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is one of nine installed in the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden. The garden was created by volunteers under the guidance of Ric deLugo as a memorial to war dead. Land for the garden was donated by the United States Forest Service. Funding for the sculpture was raised by donation. IAS files contain copies of related articles from Mount Shasta Herald, May 31, 1989; Pioneer Press, Feb. 22, 1989; and Northwest Travel, Feb./March 1993, pg. 67. IAS files contain copies of related Living Memorial Sculpture Garden brochures and related publicity.
