    Description: 
    Memorial consisting of a policeman's helmet, goggles, gloves, keys and badge. The cast bronze items rest atop a rectangular terrazzo pedestal. The pedestal stands in the center of a round pavement. The perimeter of the pavement is flanked with 10 concrete cube seats.

    Remarks: 
    Ganz was the first police officer of Manhattan Beach to die in the line of duty. The initiative for the memorial was provided by Dr. J. Guilone, a local citizen. IAS files contain copy of related article from Los Angeles Times, July 14, 1994.
