    Description:
Site installation of seven galvanized steel butterflies along a running path. Several of the butterflies are displayed and mounted vertically in solid and open mesh viewing boxes. Each of these butterflies is viewed through a round aperture on the front of the box. The boxes are supported by metal poles. Other butterflies are mounted directly on the front of a flat, vertical plaque. The sides of the plaque are supported by two poles. Several of the butterflies are partially cut out of a metal plaque; the top wings are bent out giving added dimension. The seventh butterfly is an empty cutout shape in the center of a vertical metal plaque. At the entrance to the path is an eighth sculpture featuring the abstract shapes of three butterflies resting on a tree trunk.
