    Description: 
    A series of cast glass puddles embedded in a brick plaza. The puddles are rounded in shape with a blue-green hue and are lit from below by fiberoptics installed underneath.

    The poem etched on one puddle is by Ikkyu Shonin, a 15th century Japanese poet. Kathy Lucoff Arts Advisory Services acted as art consultant. Brian Murphy & Associates acted as technical consultants. Project sponsors were The Prudential Realty Group, California MEC, Inc., and MECA Associates USA in association with the Community Redevelopment Agency, City of Los Angeles. The project was funded as a Percent for Art program. The lights under the puddles pulse on and off day and night.
