    Description: 
    A portrait of race horse, Swaps, shown in full stride in proper right profile with jockey aboard. The sculpture is suspended above the ground against a travertine-clad wall. The back of the wall is decorated with the Hollywood Gold Cup in relief.

    The sculpture honors Swaps, an award-winning racehorse. Millard Sheets designed the sculpture and its setting. Albert Stewart created the bronze sculpture. IAS files contain a transcription of Hollywood Gold Cup award winners listed on rear of base. IAS files contain a related press release dated July 19, 1968.
