    Remarks: 
    James Alexander Cary was born in Missouri on December 19, 1895 and died on March 12, 1927 when he was killed by bootleggers while patrolling on West Mountain in Hot Springs National Park. He received his appointment at the Hot Springs National Park as a law enforcement ranger in Oct. 1923.
