    Description:
An inset wall sculpture of 62 individual tiles depicting individuals, businesses and events from Ft. Smith's history. There is a central band with two portions ascending and one descending from the central band. From the left, scenes depicted include a landscape; a riverboat with paddlewheel; scenes from the Civil War, including soldiers in horse-drawn wagon and a soldier in uniform, with American and Confederate flags superimposed. In the central section are busts of several lawmen and judges, and Belle Star riding a horse sidesaddle. From the center to the right are scenes of a streetscape (Garrison Avenue) with tailor shop and Pony Express buildings, figures, and a horse-drawn wagon. Above the streetscape are several Victorian houses, possibly the residences of John Vaughn and James Sparks, with the cyclone of '98 approaching. On the far right is Electric Park (1908), Scheutzen Park, a trolley car, and a Victorian-era park with a man riding a bicycle, a dog running, and a man and a woman out for a stroll.
