    Description: 
    An elderly man wearing a hat, shirt, sweater vest, pants, and shoes, surrounded by pigeons. He holds a bag of bird seed in his proper left hand. One bird is perched on his proper left wrist, one on the bag of bird seed, and one on his proper left shoulder, with another bird poised to land on the same shoulder. He is looking up slightly towards his proper right hand which is raised just above eye level. One bird is perched on his proper right hand, and another is just about to land there. One bird is on his hat, and one bird is between his feet.

    This sculpture is from a limited edition of 25. The original design received the National Sculpture Society Silver Medal in 1982. The Glendale Arts Commission purchased this sculpture with Percent for Art funds. Nearby marker reads: "OLD FRIENDS"/BY/GEORGE LUNDEEN/GLENDALE ARTS COMMISSION/OCTOBER 1986.
