    Description: 
    Standing figure of Willie Wiredhand with his proper right arm raised. His head is half of a catalytic converter and his body is an exhaust pipe. His hands are pound rod and scrap plate and his nose is a seal sleeve insert. His waist, legs, and plinth are composed of flat bar and a 3/4 ton brake drum. He is mounted atop a base which acts as a billboard.

    Remarks: 
    Welded in the Valley Electric shop. Originally the figure was set directly on the ground, but the sign became its base two years later. Originally painted fluorescent yellow. Figure was created from a logo design. Willie Wiredhand is the national symbol of the Rural Electric Corporation.
