Life-size portrait of Frederick Billings, standing and holding a rolled up set of plans in his proper left hand. Proper right hand is touching vest pocket, which holds a watch chain.

Remarks:
Statue commemorates Frederick Billings,
founder
of Billings and President of the Northern Pacific Railway. Statue was a Centennial gift in 1982 and was originally located at First Avenue North and 27th Street in Billings. It was relocated to its new position in 1993. Base contains at least one additional plaque concerning public buildings in Billings.
