    Full-length figure of a uniformed Union cavalryman stands atop a square pedestal on a tiered base. The figure wears the uniform of his rank and a wide-brimmed hat. He holds a short cavalry carbine at the barrel in his proper right hand with the butt at his foot. His proper left hand is on his hip.
