    Description: 
    A freestanding abstract figure made with three-1/4 in. aluminum plates ribbed, welded and notched together. Two pieces painted red, act as the legs and are placed in a contrapposto pose, while the third piece painted yellow acts as the head and arms of the figure. The artist states, "A single figure with one yellow hand touching the ground and the other reaching to the stars. Seen from most angles the sculpture appears as a yellow plane with arms and head cutting diagonally across the two red legs. However, the view from the school's entrance is of an all red figure." The sculpture is bolted to a low concrete pad.
