    Remarks: 
    The porpoises, donated to the city by Viola Rivenburgh, are a memorial to her husband, the late Betram G. Rivenburgh who was Secretary to Mayor Joseph Fern from 1909-1913, Superintendent of Kapiolani Park, Commissioner of Public Lands, Superintendent of Parks and Playgrounds, and a major figure in the passage of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act. IAS files contain articles from the Honolulu Star Bulletin dated August 20, 1976, page B-8, and the Honolulu Advertiser dated August 21, 1976, page A-10. The sculpture is located adjacent to the Tiger's exhibit, formerly the Sea Lion's exhibit.
