Remarks:
IAS files contain a related article from Preston County Journal (WV), Sept. 6, 1973, pg. 1 which provides information on the dedication of the statue and a biography of the donor's family. The statue was erected in memory of the late Domenick Marrara (d. 1973). Mr. Marrara was born in Italy near where St. Sebastian lived and was martyred. When Mr. Marrara immigrated to Preston City, he vowed, if successful, he would erect a statue dedicated to St. Sebastian.
