    Plaque in front of sculpture reads: This Fountain is a Gift/to/The Citizens of Galveston/From/Galveston Foundation, Inc./1975/David W. Moore/Sculptor. The sculpture was originally installed in a fountain in Galveston's Central Plaza at 22nd. When Central Plaza was opened to traffic the fountain was destroyed and the sculpture was moved to the Seaport Museum.
