A tree of books, using real books to create a mold for the tree trunk. The brown trunk of the tree consists of a twisting stack of books. The green foliage of the tree is formed by a "burst" of thinner books. Hidden within the stacks of books in the trunk are a bookworm, a bookplate, and a small house. The sculpture stands on a base made of four granite books placed side by side.
