    Remarks: 
    IAS files contain article from the White River Valley Herald (Randolph, VT) Oct. 18, 1990, pg. 1-2. The sculpture was carved out of a donated piece of Braintree pink granite by former Braintree art teacher, sculptor Jim Sardonis. The work was funded through grants offered by the state Bicenetennial Commission and the Braintree Historical Society.
