Digital Reference:  Medium:  Sculpture of bronze colored, decomposed granite rocks on a plaza paved with sandstone. Dimensions:  15 stones. Plaza: 1.6 acres. Description:  Fifteen rounded stones fitted together in a compact mound. The sculpture is sited on a paved plaza. Segerstrom & Sons, 3315 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa, California Located at South Coast Plaza Town Center, Costa Mesa, California Remarks:  This piece is one of seven sculptures which make up "California Scenario," a plaza framed by two reflective glass buildings and two 40 ft. high white concrete walls. The stones for this piece were found and cut in Takamatsu, Japan. They were then reassembled by Noguchi and two master stone cutters on the site. The title comes from the fact that the land on which the sculpture stands was once used to grow lima beans. References:  C. J. Segerstrom & Sons, 1985.
